Established in 1988, PK Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is a family business that has been in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry since 1948 when Patrick Denning first started his apprenticeship with Refrigeration Industries of Kilburn, London. In 1953 he went on the road as a travelling engineer, installing and maintaining a mobile ice rink. In 1956 he joined R.E.A. Bott Wigmore Street Ltd as a refrigeration and air conditioning engineer where he worked until his retirement.
In 1976 Kerry Denning started his career as a trainee refrigeration & air conditioning engineer at R.E.A. Bott where his father and, by this time, two brothers and two uncles also worked. After spending 12 years there he started his own company, PK Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. In 1999 Patrick Denning came out of retirement and joined his son in the family business, and at 87 years of age he still comes into the office 5 mornings a week.
Since 1988, PK Refrigeration & Air Conditioning has repaired, installed and maintained thousands of air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Having a proven track record of over 24 years, we can honestly say we are a name you can trust and rely on for all your refrigeration requirements.
We work throughout Essex, Suffolk, Kent and East London and we pride ourselves on our quick response - our engineers usually attend on the same day. All our engineers are fully trained. All our vehicles carry a very comprehensive van stock so most calls can be completed on the first visit.
We sell, repair and install all types of refrigeration from small service cabinets to large walk in cold rooms. In shops we can supply, install and repair everything from small integral cabinets to large remote open fronted multideck fridges. We offer a full breakdown and maintenance service on all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, including cold rooms, integral and remote refrigeration systems, blast chillers and freezers, split air conditioning units and cellar cooling systems. We are one of the few refrigeration companies left with full in-house workshop and fabrication department. This means if a part is obsolete we can usually manufacture it.
